The begining
6:22 AM

Ok, enough of surprises here!
Today, being the official first day of the sec4's term4 had all of us expecting the dropping of bombshells. Well, this came as no surprise to me, but the real surprise came when we were given back both A/Emath papers.
Just as what we had anticipated, Ms Ng gave out the papers fast and furiously while, following her tradition of announcing everyone's marks. As what I could always foresee, I could imagine myself drowning in embarrassment as Ms Ng announced the worst score ever. So there I was, hoping for the inevitable before I realised that I was actually shaking and sweating profusely. Just then, the words "Jiahui," interrupted my train of thoughts and forced to jump out my seat before the words "60marks...good," trailed off, repeating itself over and over again in my head till I realised that it was a saving grace. For a moment, I was blinded by the truth, like a blind man being exposed to the first rays of sunlight he longed for his whole life.
Are you sure it is a 80-marks paper? I questioned myself doubtfully as I stared at the 60marks written on the paper. To make sure that I wasn't dreaming, I re-confirmed with Jolin and found out that I scored an unbelievable score of 60/80.
Oh well, but it seems like lady luck is shining on me. Good things does come in a series I guess.
So eventually, out of the 4maths papers that were returned back, I received 3 'good' s from Ms Ng which certainly pushed me on.
In conclusion, given the difficulty of the maths papers (esp Amath!), I have performed way beyond my expectations, scoring myself an A1 for Emaths and a PASS in Amaths! And not to forget the A2 for combined science. I could have prance for joy. You could never imagine my degree of happiness. It...it...is just...beyond words of description. Somehow, my hard work have finally paid off!
Ahhh...
What a beautiful reality!
